Nice site. I think the colours are a matter of personal taste though, although I like them (they give a musky feel to the site – like a Jazz bar in fact).
Although the colours also lend a lack of urgency to the site – somehow, you don’t feel like you need to visit the site often, like it doesn’t get updated much, and I think that the lack of contrast / strong areas and the muted colours give off that feeling.
Is it just me or is the search window all messed up? Overall I really love this site. I wonder if there would be a better color to use for some of the titles though to make them stand out a little more? As I scroll down the page all of the content seems to blend together. Great Work!
