Very nice! Great layout. Layout makes it very easy to guide the users eyes to each section without having to freak where to start. I like it very much.

I’ll have to disagree a bit with you guys. While I think the style of the site is cool, the layout still suffers from a moderate TMIPP (too much information per page) ratio. They could still improve it I think.
I also think this design is very well done. But I have to agree with the comments about content below the blue bar. While the blue bar didn’t end the page for me; the content below it seemed a bit cramped. Maybe a bit more leading would help the text breathe a bit more.
maybe some Line hight
And I’m not sure but is the BG suppose to stick to the left?? how about center “test it by zoooooming waaay out in FF, looks strange doesn’t it ??
Overall nice visual design and style on top. The bottom is way too clutter and hard to distinguish different content area. A lot of the huge header text should have been sifr text for better SEO instead of images.
However, usability is very poor and I’m not sure what I should even click on! The link colors are blue, and some of header/content text is blue too, I’m confused on which ones are actual links.

I think this site is awesome. I am all for original layouts, and I believe this site does it brilliantly.

@dude⦠What exactly is the appropriate TMIPP?

@Pat
That’s a very difficult question to answer, as I would have to say that it is completely relative to each site.
Personally though, I think that the blue skype bar pretty much “closed” the home page for me, after that, the text/content turned into “noise”.
Honestly, I’m not sure if it would have been better if they flipped the content below the Skype bar to the area above it. Maybe it would have?

Other than that, I really dig the design.

The navigation gets the user lost, which, great design or not, is an instant turn off!

But I do like the color choices. :)
