i think the layout is fairly original but overall I’m not keen on this one, i’m a bit off put by the colour combinations. It’s hard to differentiate between different parts of the page and i’m not keen on the uber blocky approach. Sorry!

(Just because somebody slightly well known does something, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good. IMO, this not one of Verle’s best – far from it in fact.)
Jef: I disagree that it’s, “childish,” but I’m right there with you and Dudey about why it’s getting hits. They tried something different and it just didn’t work… it happens.
I love the site, it is different is a totally good way.
I really wish I could see the work of some of the people that have posted some rude remarks, you don’t have to love the site or even like it but there are ways to critique something without being an A-HOLE!

I think they are really talented illustrators but I find this site quite complicated. The layout is a bit difficult to follow.
No clear focal point, my eyeball goes right to whatever large illustration is in the bottom right corner.
Way too busy in my opinion.

I think this quite original and stands out from the common design. After looking at it a couple of times, I think I really like this site.
Verle does some amazing work but this is horrible.
Would be nice if it actually LOADED…
I agree with dudeydudedude. I have the impression that everyone who loves the website loves it because it’s from Veerle.
