I always like seeing art like this. Although not exactly original, there’s always something comforting (and human) about hand-drawn animation. Reminds me of those short cartoons you would see on Sesame Street.

IMO, it works with the purpose of the site - something familiar, friendly, and human. The blue can be a bit much, and the menu is really in the wrong place, but overall, it’s a good piece of marketing work.

I love how whimsy this is - it fits their message to a T. The minimal color and restriction of only one or two components moving allows the user to still concentrate on the navigation while still appreciating the animation. Good work!

Absolutely genius nevigation here, loads of little ‘easter egg’ style extras including the painter in the ladder that changes the back ground colour… so much fun. It just goes to show that there are clients out there with serious subject matter who are willing to be light hearted, and make the effort to keep the web fun and interesting.

Very nice and fun. Holding down on the balloon takes you to the top for a whimsical surprise.
