    The truth is, their work is of a high level, but their showcase site needs some tweaking.

    Personally, I think that the plaid pattern background actually doesn’t add anything to the site - in fact, I would say that it is actually more of a distraction than anything else.

    I love the layout, but I do struggle to read the italic text. I think the italic text is too small.

    But I still think it deserves a place on BWG.

    Good point. I thought something was amiss other than the background, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

    The site and most of their work is optimized for a screen resolution of 1280×1024 or more.

    I highly doubt that florists Bastian+Skoogs clientele all have screen resolutions like web designers…

    Good catch. I didn’t check to see their work, only the portfolio gallery. Methinks they need to hire a more knowledgeable developer -their designs are fine, but the technical details, as pointed out by everyone here, seem to be amiss.
