    I have to say, I do like this site.

    I could nitpick (should have used sIFR, etc.), but overall, the art direction and execution was done very well.

    Should have used sIFR? There is no should have used sIFR. Sometimes the overhead for loading it cannot be justified over just using image replacement.

    @Steve:

    True, but I beg to differ in this case. Not including the main menu/nav, the headers are all of the same font, most of the graphics are light, and it wouldn’t have taken much more overhead to have used it, IMO.

    Graphically nice, colours, transparency etc work well. There are a few display issues here n there, ie, the gallery, live is live after all… but nice job imho.

    Designing with transparency is a nice touch. I love the colors for the most part (maybe a little much on the yellow in the background). I have a small issue with the gallery page. I think the thumbnails should all be cropped to be same size so they can fit evenly in rows and columns. Also, and I am sorry for nitpicking but it kind of bothers me how the Shows and Comments section kind of slide off the body with just the little triangle to anchor them. I think this can solved if the background was toned down and the transparency showed through a bit better.

    I like the scrolling and transparency it’s alternative and nice little touch to make it different. Its nice to see the simplicity on the homepage on a site like this when the tendency is usually to make it banner heavy .
