Just briefing the source and site, from what I can see it looks like they have built a site making it look like HTML, using flash? can some one please explain this why why! WHY!
I don’t care what they built it in…that is gorgeous. That’s one of the cleanest and most intuitive layouts I’ve seen in a while… (and why is the Internet hating on Flash so much lately?)
Actually, in all seriousness, A “for reading”-sized font is the equiv of 16px, or basically the default browser size. So this is really too small to not be allowed to resize.
i am very wonder why people dont appropriate this site. this is a milestone. things we can not achieve in flash they achieve. and we can create more serious sites with that way in flash with more visual appealing.
thus many features r not there that we can use in html but still its a progress.
most part of this site developed using ajax technologies. FI says that flash developing is not either guiding technique. read articles on f-i.com carefully

@Roy: Because they could :p
From what I’ve read, they are developing kontain in XHTML/CSS as we speak.

Why did the wait to develop the site in XHTML/CSS? They should have done it from the start.
Fantasy Interactive who created Kontain are flash development/design experts. 99% of what they do is in Flash.
They are excellent at what they do.
Their target audience include people with Flash player. That’s why they created it in Flash.
why not use flash?
imo, this site is the b*llcks!
its just so smooth!
love it – inspired!
I love FI, and this site is beautiful, but my only issue with this is – how can I resize the text?
@dudey: errr, wear glasses? LOL (just kidding)
