I like this site a lot. I guess I’m a sucker for colorful skies and bright contrast to accompany it. The blog layout did take a little getting used to, but I liked it once I played around with it a bit more.
If anything, I wasn’t aware that the images in the blog were rollovers. Maybe have some sort of visual indicator that would identify that? IDK.
The typesites interview explains the technique. Basically, by placing a .png with a width of 100% in side a div with a width of 100%, you can achieve that effect. Pretty impressive work.

Loved everything until I got to the Blog section. My God, what happened in there? I can’t follow it at all.
It appears they were aiming for a newspaper-style approach with the blog.
That said, personally, the art direction isn’t to my liking, but the site is pretty good, and put together quite well.
However, it appears that they haven’t quite figured out the meaning of “content hierarchy”, and it is fairly obvious on all the pages.
The header background is great along with the feel of the site.
But the blog does seem to be a big cluttered.
It’s lovely! Top background image is absolutely fantastic. I’ve added it to my favs.
