Wow – beautiful. I love the big imagery.
I don’t like the Flash-style loaders, and it’s easy to get lost due to the unconventional nav – but a great new idea.

One complaint: the right scrollbar doesn’t work with the scroll button on the mouse. Of course, it is probably my fault for looking at it with a 1280×800 resolution laptop screen.

Nice to see some of these big corporations paying attention to their interactive experiences.

Are you all serious? This site is a nightmare to navigate. It’s not as bad as Pepsi’s new trainwreck, but still should NOT be encouraged. This is terrible UX design, which I’d like to think still counts for something.

This site is quite beautiful to look at thanks in no small part to the great photography. I like nice contrast in the colour scheme which makes it clean and fresh looking.
I’v never been a big fan of flash for many reasons but mainly because of the long delays on most flash based sites waiting for some content, this one was no different for me on a 3meg connection it took an age to preload. Flash is just another world really.

I fail to see how this is a UX nightmare. It’s a site about food, specifically recipes, and isn’t really anything more than that.

That said, it’s a beautiful site. Very “fun” and “light”. Definitely makes you feel like cooking (or in my case, eating.)

What can I say, I’m a big fan of large imagery. I like this as well. As for the jab at the UI/UX, this strikes me more as a type of web app as opposed to a normal site page, so I think it gets away with (and pulls of nicely) the navigation as is.

Love the photography! Also like the transition (blur) affects when changing to different sections. Nice touch!
