The Photoshop brushes used in the header are really tired. The header also ends abruptly at either end on larger resolutions which is quite awkward.
I noticed how this blog has been featured in many places – am I missing something? It looks like every other WP blog out there with a Free WP theme.
I would agree about the splatter brushes and it would be nice if the header texture was repeating.
However the content is what makes this site stand out.

I think the designer tried to fade the sides out but didn’t spend so much time on it.
The site is about a guy trying to find a girl he saw in the train someday. He tries to do it in less than 20 days. Seems kind of cool ! but… this is a viral marketing campaign for Lacoste.
Site is nice though.
