The thing I love most about this site is the color palette. Text is really easy on the eyes.

I would have preferred a little less repetition in the textures used for the headers, but very intuitive and easy to navigate. I especially liked the arrows used to navigate to next and previous posts within their blog
Some of the elements of the site remind of Best Web Gallery. It almost looks like a sister site. Otherwise, it’s pretty nice and easy to navigate through.
thanks for the feedback, as well as the negative criticism. it only fuels me to push harder :)

@dudeydudeydude Please clarify your critique here. Most of the comments I’ve read of yours seem to make sense. This one I can’t quite figure out. How is this beginner-level quality?
As a 10 year web creative director I’ve seen beginner work and this is not even close. In fact there are a lot of elements on this site that I think are terrific.
If the point of this site is to critique and help designers make advances in their profession it may be more beneficial to give some feedback as to why a particular site is worthy or unworthy.
I like the dark background with the pastel colors, and the subtle gradients on the headings create a nice lighting effect. I also think that the portfolio section was very well thought out.
The only negative thing I can think of is the noticeable repetition in the cloud illustration at the top. Not a big deal.
By the way, when I was going through your portfolio, I recognized the Kindred Spirits site that was featured a while back in Before and After Magazine. Nice!
The color scheme is very relaxing. The site is very impressive overall. Obviously very creative. I could really use some of that creativity in designing my air conditioning site.

Is not my favorite colors, but the navigation interface is good.

Um, of course it’s not your favorite color. I mean since black is technically the absence of all color. Sooo…

I honestly don’t know why this site is even on the gallery. No offense to the author, but this is beginner-level quality.

Site is cool, but portfolio not ideal. Monster template scholl ideas.
