Yes, this was an interesting site. I thought the controls could have been done a little better, but it’s a small issue. It’s different and pretty well executed.
I dig the site; seems much more like an artist site. Not because of the drawings, but how the navigation runs right into the typography, and how it’s a bit more abstract. Good job.
The typesites interview explains the technique. Basically, by placing a .png with a width of 100% in side a div with a width of 100%, you can achieve that effect. Pretty impressive work.

This site has some cool interactivity. The look reminds me of my own site, which is sort of disappointing for me.
