It is cool to see someone exploring different ways to create a website. I give the Carsonified team full credit for their new site.
There a couple of things which bug me on the Think Vitamin side, but its still really cool.
The amount of work that goes into those illustrations is without doubt a big mission. I know some people don’t like the team page with the rotating GIF bg (click on Team, then click on Mike) but lets be honest… who else is doing that? No one.
This is by far one of my new favorite sites. It’s unique and beautiful. The illustrations are fantastic, and this deserves a “Best of” for its originality.
I actually really like this site. I’m a sucker for designs that have a print influence on them, and this is definitely one of those kinds of sites. Absolutely love the art direction – very, very stylish.
I love the style, but I can’t help thinking it would look nicer in “full color”. By making the pages monochrome they loose the ability to create visual hierarchy through color contrast. Everything seems to blur and the eye has trouble finding a starting reference.
Maybe not a big problem because of the small amount of content, but still…

Nice site, but pure slogans, especially this one on the main site.
This site is great. The illustrated look is awesome.
