Love the mono approach and simplicity of the visual but it just feels too fiddly to me and if I wasn’t a patient person I would quite possibly switched off by the time the home page loaded!
Could I ask why this site was produced fully in flash, as there are other methods in which this site could have been built and would have reduced loading times considerably.
@Carl Rosekilly I personally don’t mind the site being in all Flash, I think it works very well for its intended audience. The loaders/transitions play very well into the design.
If a potential client is going to get fidgety and Google another studio, I don’t think GB will miss working with them.
@Carl Rosekilly I don’t see how it not being flash would reduce load time considerably. The animations are annoyingly slow at times, but that has nothing to do with load time.
Photography aside, the Flash elements of the site are still lacking. If you’re going to use Flash, you need to focus on your transitions, and the ones used on this site are devoid of character.
Also, the UI was terrible. Too many redundant options which looked different, placed in different sections, but still executed the same actions; and moving around the main navigation elements wasn’t necessary at all – in fact, it was plainly a bad idea.
I don’t see the use of the zoom feature in the collections as they only zoom in pointlessly with no panning feature. Why zoom if all you can see is a torso?
other than that, i like it.

Confusing UI indeed. In Collections, pressing the the right arrow moves the thumbnails right, but the main image left. My head exploded.
