This is a very interesting way to display your work, well done Daniel.

There are so many great nuances happening – all of which are exciting. Exceptional work samples too.

I love the complementary hover states for each project on the index. Lovely touch.

    Damn, that is innovative!

    I definitely wouldn’t say it’s innovative…but it’s cool, I like it.

If I had to nitpick though I would say I don’t like how the colors of the hover stats don’t seem to coincide with anything except maybe the main hue of the actual project. Would be nice to see a different hue for Print, Web, Motion, etc.

Also, for some reason it’s really bugging me how when you click on a project, the tag with the info on the left extends past the container of everything else. The more I see it the more it annoys me haha

I like so much when flash used in this way, a good poortfolio and we can see many things

It’s one of the least annoying flash sites I’ve come across possibly ever – but it’s definitely not innovative. It just has a nice idea and has good implementation. Well done…

Flash just shouldn’t be used to build entire websites. I don’t know about the general public, but when I open up a website (specifically a portfolio) and its flash I usually just close it and be on my merry way.

This site takes far too long to load the samples, having to endure meaningless animation just to see a thumbnail.

The redeeming factor is that the layout is good. I love minimalist layouts.

    Your link is like… like…

    @ Jack
it’s just easier once you’re in the flash gui to create the entire site in flash I guess. A regular visitor doesn’t care… they don’t even know what flash (or a browser) is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4MwTvtyrUQ

I can’t help that my website is pitiful, even though it does showcase my extremely poor design theory and in no possible way do I ever obtain commercial work through it.

You make me feel miserable. Why would you say something like that? Are you extremely unhappy? I just started with this small and new company and it’s my first project i’m really working on ever and it’s still unfinished. And your to weak to give your real name. And you just suck.

I always wonder what sort of internet speeds are used by people who say “Flash loads too slow.”

People in 3rd world countries generally only have 712kb connections, and they have a fairly large amount of Flash sites.

In the US and the UK, 5-25mb connections are common. In Korea and Japan, it’s 50-100mb.

So… what sort of connection do you people have? 512? 256? dial-up?

Or is it simply just “I hate Flash” fanboy-ism?
