Awesomly minimalitic. I like it. I think it matches it’s purpose perfectly.
I love how the longer content, for example the about page, resembles a book, pretty successfully too.
@Shelly, it takes about 2 seconds to scroll down a tiny bit to realise its a blog about books. Anyway, just because YOU can’t figure it out, doesn’t mean it fails.

For me it’s an ideal example of a clean website.
I think the design looks neat because of the different well chosen fonts.

I agree its a beautiful site, but the UX is poor for the fact that I can’t tell what it is about.
It should be screaming the purpose as loud as it screams how beautiful it is.
