That’s how I want restaurant websites to be! Stylish. Flashless, yet flashy!

I like a lot on this site. Typography definitely not being one of them… Not sure why they used Museo (wouldn’t mind never seeing that again) when there are other sans serifs from collateral materials that could have been pulled. I also think some of the fonts used on the intros don’t reflect the person or the restaurant at all… some seem very childish. Maybe I’m missing something though.

Rich – That’s Steinem, not Museo.

Lovely website. It certainly raises interest for the restaurant.

It could use some more work in regards of semantics, though. For example, I found two h1′s on one page.

The typography looks great, and the restaurant style appears to match the website theme as well.

I’m sorry, the pitiful Anti Aliasing through browsers via TypeKit has effected my eagle eyes.

The font looks like “Cuca” to me. Who designed the site?

Love this site. I am wondering what font was used for the word ‘STORE’? Anyone know?

I love the type at this site. I think it all fits very well.

Thanks for the kind words, and constructive criticism. I designed and art directed the site working with Fusionary Media.

The typeface is Steinem. The other typeography is hand illustrated both both by myself and illustrator Geoffrey Holstad.

    Thanks again!

Beautiful site. Regardless of what others say the “trends” are or are not, hand crafted feeling sites will always be relevant and beautiful. It’s the same as hand crafted papers, cards or books. They are always in style.

Awesome website. I use to live in the GRap and go to Marie-Catribs. The website suits the store, Marie and the area to a T. Well done. I miss the Adult-Grilled Cheese!

A huge fan of both Marie, her restaurant, and this site. It’s always great seeing such talent in Grand Rapids.
