    Typical.

    Stick some texture or some photo stuff in the bg, and it shows up here.

    Create a beautiful minimalist website, and you would be super lucky to see it on this gallery (and if it is, even if it’s superb and by a world-class agency, it’s still not getting the “best of” tag, because it doesn’t have textures.)

    @dudeydudedude : well said.
    The gallery has some strange lookin’ peeps and even stranger looking camel toes.
    this site only showcases 1 person’s taste - the owner of the site. or so at least that’s how it appears. At least the ugly sites get the comments rolling. it may be just strategy.

    I still think this is one of the best Css galleries around.

    The percentage of quality vs not-so-quality sites featured here are much higher than anywhere else.

    @David:

    I actually agree with you, which is why I still come back. However, anybody who knows (or studied) even a little bit about professional design would disagree with a number of sites showing up here.

    Granted, as you said, there are far more crappy galleries that are run by non-designers, which are far, far worse, and unfortunately are extremely popular (*cough*cssmania*cough*).

    However, because BWG is run by a designer, one would expect a higher standard than the number of rubbish “textured” sites present on this gallery.
