    @Mike: I think the White House is a firm from Detroit, in the states.

    Am I missing something from the above comments?

    Are you guys saying that “The White House” is a design firm?

    Because if you are, you guys just made my day.

    Come on! Who hasen’t heard of the White House Design group?[/sarcasm]

    It’s a great design. It’s better than his campaign site in my opinion.

    I wonder what Bush’s looked like?

    Very elegant. Great use of negative space.

    Can anyone tell me the name the firm that designed this site? I’ve looked everywhere.

    @Mike:

    AFAIK, it’s Obama’s own in-house team. The same one responsible for his campaign website.

    That’s what I heard through the grapevine at least.

    @Sarah Haha, I read that the other day… isn’t it crazy how far we’ve come (design-wise) since 2000?

    The little design elements make the site. Though honestly, anything was better than what it used to look like.
