I have to agree about the design, very tasteful!

However, @Matt, this is a ladies portfolio, not a man! She might hunt you down for that comment!

I like the layout. I think there’s a little too much going on in the background though, it’s sort of distracting. Of course, I love minimal sites, so it very well might just be me being picky. But, I think she could do without a few of the elements on her site to still have the style she’s going for, but be a bit more clean.

I like the clean layout! The images and background is easy on the eyes - there’s just enough to make it interesting.

Only recommendation is make an active state for the portfolio detail page. The page “jumps” if you click thru your work, and then users lose track of where they are.

I like the site but you can’t put a link to validate the xhtml if it doesn’t validate. It makes you look unprofessional. Just leave the link out if the site doesn’t validate.
