This makes up for yesterdays controversy. Generally awesome design, maybe there are some usability issues but full marks for pushing the boundaries.

very good looking website, but it’s stupid to make this with html. it has the same bad performance like flash, but at least you dont have to deal with ie.
From day one I knew this would probably be a bit controversial - both technically and in some usability aspects.
Technically it’s all down to browser JS performance, and of course Chrome and Safari comes out on top! We have tried all we could to improve the IE performance, but from your comments it’s clear it could be better.
Like I said I feel humbled by your feedback, but please keep it coming :)
I think it looks great. It also works very smooth on chrome. I was amazed when I saw it wasn’t flash.
One thing though: could you add the links to the websites you showcase? I always want to see the site itself and I don’t want to search for it on Google.

It’s very impressive (and fun!) when viewing on a faster machine. Played beautifully on my iMac at work.
Not so pleasant of an experience on my older IBM laptop at home.
(viewed both on chrome)
Either way, it looks sweet.
Maybe consider getting rid of the perpetual horizontal “scroll”. For a while I said, “wow, this guy has done a ton of work”.. all to discover it was being repeated

I have to agree with the “this should have been done in Flash” comment.
I’d wager about 95% of computers can’t handle this amount of real-time scripting. It’s VERY impressive, but outside of a powerful machine (as rb pointed out), the wow-elements hinder rather than help.
Quality work, no doubt. But Flash would have given this site so much more polish.
fullscreen animations via javascript are too slow on higher resolutions like 1920×1080. i was using supersized for background animations but it was really slow compared to flash.

Overall pretty creative. Granted usability was sacrificed, but it’s your website… so whatever floats your boat.

Nice design. Should be flash.
Not sure why you would try so hard to avoid flash, but then Flashers try to avoid html/js as well ;)

Haha… Agreed. Really like the colors and typography, maybe a tad of a usability issue but the vibe I get from it makes up for it.

Really nice design and I totally appreciate what they have tried to do but I found it to be so slow as to be almost unusable…

True, it’s super slow, but definitely creates a strong web presence for this studio.

Yes it’s a little clunky and slow but this is pushing the boundaries - superb effort!

Definitely has the “wow” effect, however the usability isn’t too smooth.

Not sure what systems all of you are working on, but it is butter on mine. Really amazing work.
