I would have to strongly disagree. There is nothing intriguing or unique about this site. Some commendable work, but presentation could be evolved a bit more I think. I like the large bold text, that’s about it.
I like simplicity, but I agree with Rich. It’s nothing innovative or new. It looks like every other minimalist site, just with a reversed color palate.
Text link styles should not match plain text styles. Specifically in the Awards section where the project is spelled out like a link and it shares the link styles but it is not a link. Other than that, this site serves its purpose.
I like the design. Simple, easy to read. However, there are some issues here. He has used transparent png’s for the headers. They show in ie6 with the light blue box surrounding them. Also, something is up with the html validation.

This is simplicity at its best.

Looks like my site but I have much more visual noise!
Nice job!
i agree with @Seth a lot, when I click on the “fake” links in the awards section in FF everything goes crazy.
I like the simplicity, but agree it needs more umph.
Less is more – I like it!
I like the large text, good contrast in terms of color and types.
it’s a little bit dull but nice overall.
