I mean nice illustrations and all, but nothing new here… Best of the Web? The best part of the site IMO was the slick ChoiceCuts logo they had on a flash intro into an HTML site (What’s the purpose of that again?) Not saying it’s a bad design, I like the simplicity, just not a best of the web submission.
I really like this site, it is so well thought out I can’t believe it. I love the simplicity, the grid, the rollovers, and especially the work.
You can tell that they definitely spent alot of time ensuring that the layout was clean and user friendly, but not to eye catching as to allow their work to shine through and take the stage.
Maybe nothing crazy as far as web craziness goes. But the site is clean, usable and makes sense. On top of that, this is probably some of the best, most inspiring agency work I have seen on this site.
