I may be mistaken, but this seems to be an attempt for a dribbble invite.

Excellent design with some really neat usability and the content is out of this world awesome.

I agree with dudeydudeydude. I don’t see anything special about the design. It’s clean, minimal and well-designed but doesn’t compare to the other designs that have been featured on here… I’m just saying.

    I agree with dudeydudeydude.

And just putting it out there, you gotta be good designer to get an invite, NOT a good blogger

    There is a difference people!

@Amanda I’d say he is a pretty good designer as well as blogger. Maybe you should check out his folio http://www.ndesign-studio.com/portfolio/web before you start talking smack. The site has very nice features and some other things that have already been highlighted.

Sorry mate, but I disagree with you there.

    However…

If there’s one thing I don’t particularly like about dribbble, it’s how a number of designers seem to be mimicking other designers’ styles.

They’re all mimicking Apple for christ’s sake.

Aside from aesthetics, the dribbble user experience itself is too much focused on ‘all-stars’ promotion, while rookies will find it hard to climb up the long tail. Too much dig to find something new and good.

I love the design of this site. It stands out from any other social networking/community site out there.

To continue the conversation, I guess none of you are on dribbble? :-P
