@type08- Stating why you personally don’t like the site would be more beneficial than to act like you’re the owner of this site and make a jackass comment.
By the way, I think the layout is great, though the content div is a little small for my taste. I think I’d like it better if it were wider. Seems a little constricting to me.
@tdub: the center content section works out to ~60 characters, which is a great number to be aiming for.
I think this site is truly unique: a book in web-site form. I do wish there was a bit more differentiation between what is and isn’t an available chapter, though I do also realize that Adii’s target market is designers, who will likely get it before the average person would.
This is another brilliant piece of design from the ever talented Tim Van Damme.
Paper fold effect and various other over used cliches…? and a boring color scheme… not liking this at all, looks like all the other cheap themes from woothemes to me.
Fair enough the design should be judged for itself and not by who designed it but Pats comment was merely stating that it was another good design by Tim Van Damme, which it is and who has a track record of lovely design work!

@Kay – Do you have a better suggestion than paper to indicate content from a book? Perhaps some things are clichés for a reason?
I don’t think it should matter who it was designed by
Tim Van Damme, Jina Bolton, Nick La or Geoff Ellis. All that should matter is if it’s any good.

This is a great design, As Pat also points out, this is one of those times where a cliché fits the bill exactly. Well done all those involved.
this site definitely has a wow factor. i liked it.
Well, it’s not that bad. It’s the content, it doesn’t have the image-wow factor.
