Nice design, really like one page style. If only it were optimized more, the javascript takes a while to load and can ruin the interactivity a bit if a user clicks something before its ready.

On the sites like this I expect that hand-drawn elements will be consistent. I have a mixed feelings when I see sketched background and arrows at portfolio and the photos directly on it (without any border or something).

    Bravo for the daring design!

Is it me or does the ‘forward’ arrow on the portfolio not work?

I guess it’s a fun site, I dont really like the mix of sketchy imagery and clean fonts, just my preference I suppose.

There is nothing about this website I like and I can’t figure out why. A couple of immediate issues are the slow rollovers and the horrible way of scrolling through the “blog” at the bottom.

Sorry I’m not bringing any constructive criticism to the table, but I just can’t put my finger on it.

    It feels amateur…

I guess this was made without any consideration for people with 1024×768 resolutions.

@Efernard Well it’s common to design for the majority in web design.

Anyway I really liked the way the site worked, the unusual navigation style, and the hand-drawn style. But I feel that the other elements on the site could have been hand-drawn, such as the headings (We build/Howdy/etc) and perhaps use a hand-drawn sketchy frame around photos.

I loved the animations on the right hand side of the screen. However, I did find that the navigation on the left side of the screen were a bit buggy so perhaps look at ways of preloading the images or something like that.

Overall, very imaginative and creative, with a dash of originality. That’s my verdict. :-)

I love the look and I think it shines as a one page site, mainly by not feeling like one giant page which is a pet peeve of mine.

It doesn’t appear to pass the mobile device test (specifically my rather old mobile device, and User Agent Switcher for Firefox), which is a shame. I think that this would actually be a fairly fun site for a touch screen.
