Nice design, neat and subtle… very friendly :)

only, why the ‘book’ page is different from others?

I agree with bayu.. neat, subtle & friendly

The books page did sort of confuse me with the message:
“For some eye candy animation, hover the books in Safari 4, Mac.” displayed so prominently, it was the first thing that caught my eye on that page and I happened to be on Safari for Mac.. but.. I wondered what if I wasn’t on Safari so I looked at it in Firefox, Chrome, & Opera for mac and it still worked and stated “..Safari for Mac”

I really don’t see the point of that prominent message?

Thanks for your comment, guys! Just to clarify the message:

The book page was kind of an experiment with the new Webkit 3d-transforms. These currently only work in Safari 4/5 on Mac and with Safari 5 on Windows. You’ll still see the covers of the books on hover if you’re looking at it in Firefox, Chrome and the likes, but the difference is that you won’t see the animation that “pulls” the book out of the shelf.

If it’s still not clear, maybe someone has an idea how to make it more under understandable?

Ahh now I understand. Thx for the clarification on that!

I like everything but the books page as you need safari.

i like the design, though I don’t see the need for the reptition of ‘view all posts’ links on the home page. As they’re repeated I thought maybe they related to the post they were next to but then realised they all go to the same page.

Great glyphs + typography… Easy to read. Definitely one of my faves!
