The design is nice, but the user experience is very inconsistent and clunky. If you scroll on the main page, the nav disappears, and it happens in a way where you’d expect it to happen on interior pages. I found myself hesitant to scroll anywhere else on the site.
That has got to be the worst marketing videos I’ve seen in a long time. The navigation is good for broader or refined searches, though the jQuery drop-down elements like “Tech Specs” seem equally unnecessary when it could fit on the page. The main fade/scroll effect seems like a lot of thought and work effort for something so minimal and unnecessary. Site is also missing a doctype declaration (failure), so it defaults back to UTF-8, which thus fails (warnings) site validation because of HTML5 usage.
Validation does to some extent future-proof your code. It’s not that hard to write things to spec first time round.
I like this site a lot. But it’s completely inaccessible with Javascript disabled.
I know, I know. 98% or more people will have JS enabled, but what about the tens of millions that don’t? It’s also not that hard to create a basic experience that’s accessible from ANY device.
I really like the company’s brands Nike, use and like their clothing firms are also encouraged by the quality of clothing compared to other firms, and most importantly it does not overcharge for goods firms, in general I love Nike!!!!

Apart from its html shortcomings, this has to be one of the best sites I have seen in recent memory, love it!
What is going on???? I’m so confused.
I got over this almost instantly. Too difficult to navigate.
@tdub – that’s the actual doctype for HTML5.
Besides, validation is so 2005.
(Yes, that was a joke, but you have to admit that there’s a lot of truth in it.)
