Its kinda pretty… but i feel like there is a little much going on.
The sliding element is real tall, I’m on a pretty decent size resolution and i still have to scroll up and down to see the top of the element and the navigation (which is at the bottom)
I second @marshall, the feature scroller is far too tall, having to scroll up and down continually is a real pain and just shows poor decision in the design process.
Other than that, there are some nice touches but nothing really special here.
Looks nice… with the bottom navigation, and when clicking those items the window not repositioning.
It’s not apparent that anything is happening, below the fold. I seriously thought that it was just headlines sliding in or something, and I was supposed to maybe click those or something else to navigate.
Took me several clicks on the menu to figure out to scroll down. The nav is sort of awkward then. jQuery Scroll.to might of been a better idea.
Unless it could be designed in percentages to resize, but that’s asking a lot from the many platforms now days.
Glad to see they updated their site. Cornerstone is superior to Versions in every way, but I think a lot of people buy Versions because the website is prettier than Cornerstone’s. (I should know. I bought Versions first and Cornerstone much later)
Now Cornerstone has a website that can compete with Versions on eye candy.
@adrian don’t you think rather than insulting someone’s comment, a better move would be to explain why you think differently?
I can’t say how many time’s I’ve heard a client mention “the fold” I hate it too. But it’d be better (maybe, if you’re gonna say something) to say something like this.
Really digging the graphics. I am jealous of people who are able to develop interesting illustrations in their web design.
All up a good site, but I feel like the typography is too weak. It seems hard to read, this may be a contrast issue but may also have something to do with the lack of thickness in the typefaces used.
The text shadow on the body text thins out the type, in this case this isn’t a good thing as the darker grey of the text is washed out when the shadow is applied. It then becomes too similar to the background colour.
I would suggest strengthening the type by removing the text shadow. This may sound counter to the argument I have put forward but I would either reduce the body text size down a few pixels OR increase the leading.
Scroll to trigger? Scroll to read the content in full? Headers that you can’t read? A style which is similar to every stock icon being sold around the web? Spacing that is so poor you can’t be bothered to read the right column?
Yeesh. This site should’ve gone straight into the amateur bin.
Just because you can use Photoshop or code CSS doesn’t mean you’re a designer, nor should you offer a professional service, otherwise this is the kind of disservice you’ll be handing over to clients – work which is all show, and no substance.
It looks nice, but there are so many websites that all have this look on the web at the moment, it loses a lot of substance. I honestly thought that look was part of a template I’ve seen it so much.
@dudeydudeydude Hey why don’t you spend less time on this site commenting and saying how crap other sites are and focus on your own? Which by the way will never be featured on here.

Yadda yadda.

The Design is Eye catching…but I feel as a Marketing consultant…that ..few people will go below the fold…it is not conversion efficient
@DigiDwai Wow really? Did you just say fold…New dumbest comment ever?

“hey check this out, the fold is a weird concept in web design

I’m sure there may be better articles out there. BUT ANYHOO.
Just sayin. Let’s be civil.

Another great looking site. The at the bottom are a bit hard to read.
Christ… zero substance on this one.

A cool looking site but I feel like I have seen this site before….
The top left logo should be bigger as well.
Good site overall though.
cool design thanks for sharing.
I love the tool tips that popup when hovering over the buy now and download buttons. Great looking site overall
