That modern typeface headline is both distracting and completely random compared to the nice sans serif type used everywhere else. And what’s up with the lower “Inquery” image being blown up?

@tdub The website scales with the browser window and I think that may have something to do with it.

Some of their work is on par, but others aren’t as lucky. The typography throughout this website feels very amateur, not to mention some line-height issues in random spurts of text.

Stefan Hartwig (Partner) is a much better designer than their work seems to showcase, so I’m a bit confused to why nothing seems to impress me here.

It’s possible the fontstack didn’t load correctly? The typography shouldn’t look bad. We’ll tweak the scaling for the ‘inquire’ graphic.

@trumpduck I’d love to see what you mean by line-height issues. If you have a few minutes and could email a screengrab to me at aaron at electricpulp dot com, we’d really appreciate it.

@tdub thanks for pointing out the incorrect inquiry graphic.

I love the new site. Clean and stylish with soothing colors. All the right headlines pop and draw my eye.

Dig it. I like the “What we do/What we don’t” part.
    Refreshing.

Great looking site. Unfortunately the massive text on the front was so big it literally hurt my eyes. I didn’t even read it. The eyes have a hard time going from generally small text to massive text like that.
I guess I just feel like that word Extraordinaire is just really hard on the eyes in that font.

Good web design. I like the background patterns. But one note here again related with the main heading. The use of uppercase italic especially in serif in graphic design is prohibited almost by rule. There are some rear exceptions though. Example being The Italic Poster – http://www.eivindmolvaer.com/#389636/The-Italic-Poster ,which anyway is sans-serif. I think these rule can be applied to web design as well.

The layout is definitely too big. I can see on my laptop just the headline when I first come to the page.

I am really digging this site, I love the media queries, and I really like how everything is big and clear. Great job EP!

Interesting site… my favorite part is the top navigation. I love how it appears when you scroll down.

The layout does seem a little big and unnecessary but that’s usually the beginning to great design.
